Frequently asked questions.
I am managing my own renovation, and just need some drawings, is this possible?
If you’re managing your own renovation, professional drawings are the perfect final step. With a detailed set of plans, you can confidently coordinate trades, source your own fittings, and keep your project on track, without paying the high project management fees charged by many companies.
Your drawings can be sent directly to plumbers, builders, tilers, cabinetmakers and stonemasons for accurate quotations, helping you budget and compare costs with ease.
Why should I hire a Designer to plan my Kitchen and not use a Store designer?
The short answer is yes, you can use a cabinet maker or a store designer (I used to be one myself!). The difference is that cabinet makers are often too time-poor to provide more than a quick sketch, and store designers are driven by sales targets rather than your best interests. An independent designer, on the other hand, offers unbiased advice and focuses solely on what will work best for you and your project.
How long does the design process take?
It can vary based on the specific requirements of the job and scale. However, a general guideline.
Consultations: Scheduled within a few days of booking.
Concept Designs & Mood Boards: Typically delivered 1–2 weeks after the site visit and project discussions.
Final Working Drawings & Selections: The full design process is usually completed within 3–4 weeks, depending on revisions and timely communication.
What if I don’t have any professional plans, or only hand-drawn ones?
No problem! If professional plans aren’t available, we can guide you on how to request existing ones from your local council. Hand-drawn plans are also fine we can translate them into accurate digital drawings for a more detailed and precise review.
